At LearnersDrive, our intensive driving courses are designed to help learners progress quickly through structured, focused training. Please read the following terms carefully before booking an intensive course or practical driving test through us.
By booking an intensive course, you agree to these terms and conditions.
Course Booking
- Intensive courses are subject to instructor and vehicle availability.
- A booking is confirmed only after payment (or deposit, where applicable) has been received.
- Learners must hold a valid UK provisional driving licence before the course begins.
- You are responsible for providing accurate personal information during the booking process.
Course Assessment
Before an intensive course begins, we may recommend or require an assessment lesson to determine:
- Your current driving ability.
- The number of training hours required.
- The most suitable intensive course package.
Course recommendations are based on instructor assessment and are intended to maximise your chances of success.
Lesson Schedule
- Intensive courses follow a planned timetable agreed between the learner and LearnersDrive.
- Lesson dates and times should be attended as scheduled.
- Missed lessons may not be replaced unless sufficient notice is provided and instructor availability allows.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
- At least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule individual lessons within an intensive course.
- Missed lessons or late cancellations may be charged at the full lesson rate.
- If LearnersDrive must reschedule lessons due to unforeseen circumstances, alternative dates will be offered as soon as possible.
Practical Driving Test Fees
Where LearnersDrive books your practical driving test on your behalf:
- The DVSA practical driving test fee is separate from course fees unless explicitly included in your package.
- Test booking fees are subject to current DVSA pricing.
- If a test date needs to be changed, DVSA notice requirements and fees will apply.
- LearnersDrive is not responsible for changes made by the DVSA, including test cancellations or rescheduling.
Use of Instructor’s Vehicle for the Driving Test
If your package includes the use of your instructor’s vehicle for the practical driving test:
- The instructor must be satisfied that you have reached a safe test standard.
- If the instructor believes you are not yet ready, the use of the vehicle may be postponed until additional training has been completed.
- This decision is made solely in the interest of road safety and does not guarantee a refund of test fees.
Refund Policy
Refunds for intensive courses may be available under the following conditions:
- Refunds may be issued for unused lessons where permitted under your booking agreement.
- Completed lessons are non-refundable.
- Administrative charges may apply where bookings have already been arranged.
- DVSA test fees are subject to the DVSA’s own cancellation and refund policies.
Any approved refund will be processed using the original payment method.
Test Success
While our instructors provide professional tuition using proven teaching methods:
- LearnersDrive cannot guarantee that you will pass your practical driving test.
- Test outcomes depend on your preparation, performance, and the standards set by the DVSA examiner.
Learner Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Attend all scheduled lessons on time.
- Carry your valid provisional driving licence.
- Inform us of any medical conditions or changes that may affect your ability to drive.
- Follow all instructions given by your instructor.
- Maintain respectful and appropriate behaviour throughout the course.
Exceptional Circumstances
In cases of illness, emergencies, or other exceptional situations, LearnersDrive will consider requests for rescheduling or refunds on a case-by-case basis. Supporting evidence may be requested where appropriate.
Changes to These Terms
LearnersDrive reserves the right to amend these Intensive Course & Test Fee Terms at any time. Any updates will be published on this page together with the revised effective date.
